She has worked on chivalric festivities in the Golden Age, Spanish literary traditions (16th century), and censorship and religious conflict in Early Modernity. She has published two books on chivalric festive representation: Caballería, diplomacia y ficción entre España e Italia: “El Monte de Feronia” (Ferrara, 1563) (2016) and the Fiesta caballeresca en el Siglo de Oro: estudio, edición, antología y catálogo (2017), for which she received an award from the “Barón de Valdeolivos” Chair of Emblematics. Based on her doctoral thesis Escrituras, hurtos y reelaboraciones de Luis Hurtado de Toledo (1523-1590), she has written several articles and book chapters on topics such as the confluence of the cancionero and Italianate traditions, literary reworkings, and the concept of authorship. She is currently preparing her third book, an edition of Las Cortes de la Muerte (1557) by Miguel de Carvajal. Her teaching and research career have been developed at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, the  Instituto Biblioteca Hispánica del CiLengua, the École Normale Supérieure (Lyon), the Seminario de Estudios Medievales y Renacentistas (University of Salamanca) and the Seminario de Poética del Renacimiento (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
