Europa Humanistica is an international research network dedicated to the study of the modes of transmission of texts and knowledge from Antiquity to the Renaissance.

Formerly coordinated by Jean-François Maillard (IRHT, Paris), its current coordinator is Marie-Elisabeth Boutroue (Centre d’études supérieures de la Renaissance, Tours). Since 1995, the research results of the network have been published by Brepols in the EUROPA HUMANISTICA series. The books in the collection constitute an examination, by country and region, of the work of text transmitters (editors, translators, commentators, glossators, printers). The network also maintains a digital library and holds regular meetings in several European countries.
