Biography
Júlia Martínez Berrar holds a degree in English and Spanish Studies, with a specialisation in Comparative Literature, graduating with an extraordinary award in 2021 from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She also completed a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature at the same university. Júlia was awarded a collaboration grant in the Department of Spanish Philology, specifically in the area of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. Subsequently, she pursued a Master’s degree in Teacher Training at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia). For the past two years, she has been teaching at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, initially as a substitute lecturer and later as an associate lecturer. She is currently working on a doctoral thesis focused on the impact of English literature on Catalan literature.
